Building common boat for one's own interests

Ironically for the US, the more problems the US caused to Russia and China, the closer and stronger the relationship between Russia and China would become.

China's President Xi visited Russia for the eighth time and according to Mr. Xi, he and Russia's President Vladimir Putin have since 2013 met each other almost 30 times. It is easy, when it is not very easy, to see the cordiality of the relations between these two neighboring countries have been undergoing.

But just now, it is much more important, necessary and urgent for both to close their ranks and to intensify their cooperation. Both Russia and China are facing with challenges and difficulties caused by the US and its allies with the aim of rolling back the political, economic and also military rise of Russia and China in the world or in Europe and Asia-Pacific, and put the two in various problems which are touted as very harmful and not easy to be overcome for Russia and China.

Therefore Mr. Putin and Mr. Xi intended to enhance more strongly and effectively the relationship between Russia and China, not in the same way they have been doing it until now but different in two aspects.

First, they deliberately show their unity on approaching the present state of the world and of the international relations among nations; on deadly needed solutions for all problems of the world; and, of course, on the politics and strategies of the present US administration and of US President Donald Trump as well as of the US's allies towards Russia and China. The outside world should without any doubt know that Russia and China have strong and close ties like two in one and the unofficial "Russia-China-Axis" would determine to a very decisive extent the future fate of mankind and the world. Their core message was that Russia and China are strong and together they would be much stronger and they, in unison, will successfully deal with any kind and any extent of provocations and confrontations, pressures and threats from the US and its allies. In other words, they are now building their common boat to sail through oceans of hostilities. Mr. Putin and Mr. Xi reached agreement on viewpoints and strengthened coordinating their actions.

Second, they paid more attention to enhancing bilateral economic cooperation, trade and investment in order to compensate damages caused to them by the US and its allies. Russia and China became more and more important for each other and will further be so in the next time. They once again discover each other for their own future.

Ironically for the US, the more problems the US caused to Russia and China, the closer and stronger the relationship between Russia and China would become while it is of strategic significance and interest of the US to divide and polarize Russia and China.
