Hanoi police combat exam fraud

To prepare for the Hanoi national high school exam in 2019, the city`s police target to ensure absolute safety for the exam.

Hanoi's police force has cracked down two websites selling equipment aiding exam fraud such as camera pen and spy watch camera, among others, in Cau Giay district.

The city’s police coordinated with the local market management force to deal with two above-mentioned websites.

To prepare for the Hanoi national high school exam in 2019, the city's police aim to ensure absolute safety for the exam, from printing of exam papers, traffic safety and order with special focus on combating exam fraud.

The city’s police also said they would deploy 1,376 security staff at 125 exam venues.

Together with the police force, Hanoi's authorities said that they prepared workforce for the exam to achieve the expected results.

Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ngo Van Quy on June 17 asked the units to keep reviewing premises for exam. He required the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to continue coordinating with units to complete security tasks at the test sites as well as the surroundings.

In the national high school exam in 2019, Hanoi ranks first in the country in the number of contestants, over 74,000. Quy asked the units to promote the seriousness of the previous year's exam, be well-prepared and ready for the upcoming exam.
