Latest technologies to be showcased at Vietnam Industry 4.0 Summit 2018

The Hanoitimes - The summit aims to discuss the current status of the deployment and application of Industry 4.0 in Vietnam, propose policies and discuss plans to accelerate the application of the Internet of Things in the country.
The Industry 4.0 Summit and Expo 2018 will take place in Hanoi from July 12 to 13 under the theme of “Vision and Development Strategy in the Fourth Industrial Revolution”.
Being held in Vietnam for the second time, earlier titled ‘Smart Industry World 2017 Conference and Expo’, the Vietnam Industry 4.0 Summit 2018 will be hosted by the government, Vietnam Central Party Economic Commission, ministries, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Hanoi People's Committee, and IEC Group.
The event would cover five conference sessions debating mega trends of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, namely the building of smart cities, the development of smart manufacturing industry, the next generation of banking and finance, and visions and development strategies for smart agriculture.
Meanwhile, an international expo held on this occasion will house stalls introducing solutions and services in such key areas as agriculture, industry, energy, telecommunications, health, transport, finance-banking, and e-commerce.
Embracing the overall theme of the event "The Vision and Development Strategy in the Fourth Industrial Revolution", ABB’s showcase will highlight the power of connectivity and innovations to support acceleration of digitalization in Vietnam.
The firm will demonstrate its latest technologies at a high-level forum and exhibition as part of the Vietnam Industry 4.0 Summit 2018.
