Hanoi reports draft document on controlling vehicle load

The Hanoi Traffic Safety Committee has recently issued Official Letter No. 33/BATGT-VP, requesting the city’s departments to report the outcome after implementing Directive No. 32/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on controlling vehicle load.

The Hanoi Traffic Safety Committee issued Report No. 82/BC-BATGT to sum up one year of implementing Directive No. 32/CT-TTg dated November 25, 2016 of the Prime Minister on increasing control over vehicle load in the city. 
This is an activity in order to realize Plan No. 462/KH-UBATGTQG dated November 13, 2017 of the National Traffic Safety Committee on summing up one year of implementing Directive No. 32/CT-TTg dated November 25, 2016 of the Prime Minister on increasing control over vehicle load, Plan No.13/KH-UBND dated January 23, 2017 of the Municipal People’s Committee on tightening control over vehicle load in Hanoi.
In an effort to implement the instruction of the National Traffic Safety Committee under Document No. 181/UBATGTQG dated May 11, 2018 on reporting outcome after implementing Directive No. 32/CT-TTg, the standing member of Hanoi Traffic Safety Committee asks city’s departments, agencies, sectors, People’s Committees of districts and towns to give their feedbacks on the Municipal Safety Committee’s draft report on outcome after implementing the Directive, and add result after implementing the Directive in the first four months of 2018.
Attention is paid to the following points: written instruction released since the beginning of 2018; data of patrols, control and punishment for violation of vehicle load; suggesting measures to control vehicle load for the new context.
The Hanoi Traffic Safety Committee requests Inspectorate of the Department of Transport, Section of Transport Management under the Department of Transport to add information of outcome after implementing the Directive in the first four months of 2018 to the draft report.
The agencies send written feedback to the Department of Transport by May 22, so that the latter will sum up information and report to the Municipal People’s Committee and National Traffic Safety Committee.
