Most Vietnamese workers want to change jobs in 2019

The respondents emphasized that top reasons for wanting to change jobs was lack of career advancement in their current job.

A survey conducted by online recruitment site VietnamWorks.has highlighted that most Vietnamese workers want to change jobs in 2019.

The majority of workers in Vietnam, or 78%, said they will change jobs next year in search of a better position and an increased salary, Staff Industry Analysts reported.

The news agency noted that VietnamWorks’ survey polled about 900 respondents and found that nearly six in ten said they will change jobs right at the beginning of 2019, while 26% planned to do it after the Tet holiday (Lunar New Year), which will take place from February 2-10, 2019.

The respondents emphasized that top reasons for wanting to change jobs was lack of career advancement (30%) in their current job, dissatisfaction with current pay (24%), lack of training and development (21%), workplace stress (10%), and dissatisfaction with their boss (8%), SIA reported.
