The sector’s entire IT application has been implemented and built in accordance with the e-Government Architecture Framework issued by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

Speaking at the workshop on developing e-government on April 25 where the rankings were announced, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong noted that this was the second year that the ranking results on IT application and e-Government development of ministries, branches and localities were published.

The ministry carefully researched method of ranking, taking into account the evaluation method of the E-Government Development Index (EGDI) that the United Nations applied to its member countries and territories, Hong stressed.
