Accordingly, each team is made up of around ten officers from the traffic, criminal and mobile police forces and will be in charge of handling offenses across 12 downtown districts and three suburban ones. The officers are equipped walkie-talkies, rubber bullet guns, electric batons, handcuffs and many other supportive tools.

These new establishments will be in operation for one year and dissolved when their missions end by October 15, 2020.

At the launching ceremony of 15 new teams of 141 force, Head of Hanoi’s Traffic Police Duong Duc Hai stressed that they will deal with all acts of obstruction or resistance with determination without compromising their safety or that of lawbreakers and people on the streets.

Since 2011, Hanoi established 15 teams of 141 task force for handling street wrongdoings and security threats, among other offenses.
