Covid-19 claimed more than 22,500 lives in Vietnam in the latest outbreak that flared up in late April.

Vietnam’s lawmakers requested timely lawmaking at a time when Covid-19 is sweeping almost every part of the country.

Lawmakers largely attributed severe floods in the central region recently to poor planning of small-scale hydropower plants.
