With the beauty of traditional culture as well as the peak of architectural art, Hanoi Opera House has been named the most beautiful place in Vietnam.

Nowadays, the Opera House hosts a variety of events, ranging from classical concerts and operas to contemporary stage performances and folk music by Vietnamese artists. The largest theater in Vietnam, its audience's hall has a capacity of 600 seats.
In 2017, Hanoi Opera House officially opens to tourists. A tour entiled “History, architecture and traditional arts” at the capital’s iconic work of the Hanoi Opera House. The tour includes two parts. The first one allows visitors to learn about the history of theatre’s construction and architectural style; access to the original design of the French architects; visit the main hall, the stairs, the auditorium, the seating; enjoy tea in the mirror room to learn about the vestige of the bullet in December 1946 under the French colony; and see documents and photos of major events having been taken place inside and outside the Hanoi Opera House. The other part includes “ Vietnamese soul” art performances, such as solo monochord, flute concerto, choreography, puppetry…
The move aims to make the Hanoi’s landmark to become an attractive sight, combining the House Opera visiting and art watching. More than 1 million international tourist arrived to Hanoi in the first two months of 2018, increasing by 31% compared to 2017, according to the Hanoi Department of Tourism.
Hanoi expects to welcome 5.5 million foreigners among over 25.4 million tourists in 2018. Hanoi is increasing communications campaigns and tourism development cooperation abroad to reach the goal, Director of the Municipal Department of Tourism Tran Duc Hai was quoted as saying.
