The Hanoitimes - Condé Nast Traveller has announced its list of the best destinations in the world for the October holiday.
Vietnam has been ranked 13th among the 20 best places to visit in October, according to a list released by Condé Nast Traveller, a UK travel magazine.
“October is the beginning of dry season in Vietnam’s north and south, where monumental natural spectacles and buzzing city scenes both abound. Up top, hill station Sapa is the gateway to misty treks, Hanoi is all chaos, condensed-milk coffees on low plastic stools and some of the best food you’ll ever taste,” Condé Nast Traveller wrote.

In addition, the Mekong Delta is a whole world bobbing on canals and streams, and Ho Chi Minh City is where the bohos go, don’t miss The Café Apartment, a nine-storey block stuffed with fairy-lit mini-boutiques and craft coffee stores.
Rome (Italy) tops the list, followed by Cyprus, the Lake District (the UK), Perugia (Italy), the Greek Islands, Botswana, Los Cabos (Mexico), etc.
Earlier, India.com, an India fastest-growing internet company, has just named Vietnam the number one country that a good choice for solo or family travel will buy you a lifetime of memories without giving a monetary set back.
“Vietnam is known for its white sand beaches, cascading rivers, Buddhist pagodas and bustling cities. Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have regal French colonial landmarks, Vietnamese War history museums and the Cu Chi tunnel, used for the defence of the country,” India.com wrote.
Vietnam welcomed some 10.4 million foreign visitors in the first eight months of 2018, a 22.8% increase from the same period last year, the General Statistics Office (GSO) has announced.
Arrivals by air, road, and sea in the reviewed period recorded annual increases of 17.3%, 62.1% and 1.6%, respectively while growth was also seen in the numbers of visitors from all five continents.
