Vietnam’s prime minister affirms that Japan is a leading strategic partner of Vietnam.
Vietnam’s Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met former Japanese PM Suga Yoshihide and Chairman of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance Nikai Toshihiro on November 23 as beginning his four-day visit to Japan.

PM Chinh thanked Nikai Toshihiro for his contributions to Japan’s Covid relief to Vietnam, including more than four million vaccine doses and medical supplies. |

| At the meeting, Chinh hoped that Suga Yoshihide and Nikai Toshihiro would continue contributing to the Vietnam-Japan relations that will reach the 50th year in 2023. |
