Visitors to Ho Chi Minh City’s annual Tet events would be able to access free wireless internet, allowing them to freely share photos of the city on the lunar New Year.
Saigon Postel Corp will install devices to provide free Wifi in the city's areas such as Nguyen Hue Flower Street; street book festival; Tao Dan flower festival; and flower markets in the September 23 Park in District 1, Gia Dinh Park in Go Vap District, Le Van Tam Park in District 3 and Phu My Hung Urban Area in District 7.
This year’s event themed “Vietnamese characteristics and magnanimity”, Street Book Festival and Nguyen Hue Flower Street 2015 will be held on Ham Nghi Street in stead of Nguyen Hue Street due to the construction of Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro line No.1 and Nguyen Hue walking street.
The wireless network will be available from February 8 until the festivals wraps up.
