2019 full of activities to celebrate National Tourism Year in Khanh Hoa

Khanh Hoa has been chosen to host the National Tourism Year with theme “Nha Trang – Color of the Sea” in 2019 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The 2019 National Tourism Year promised to be packed with activities to be held by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and other central and local agencies in Khanh Hoa province, Hanoimoi Newspaper reported.

Accordingly, the Department of Arts, Photography and Exhibition under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will host exchange activities among photographers with the theme “Khanh Hoa Tourism”, which will take place from June 4 to 14. More than 20 photographers of Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists will go shooting at several famous destinations in Khanh Hoa province.
In addition, the organizing board will put on display artistic photos that feature changes, new perspectives, and photos of the province’s beautiful landscapes at the April 2 Square on June 13.
A program titled “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity Festival” will take place from June 14 to 16. Artisans from provinces and cities nationwide will perform at the April 2 Square and other places across Khanh Hoa province.
In addition, the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts will host an exhibition named “Vietnam Cultural Heritages, Sea, and Island Tourism”, from June 14 to 18 in Nha Trang city.
The event aims to introduce and promote the value of cultural heritage, as well as the unique tourism products of Vietnam’s sea and islands.
“The sea and island homeland”, an artistic program, is expected to be held at the April 2 Square with the participation of several art troupes from other provinces and cities.
Khanh Hoa has been chosen to host the National Tourism Year with theme “Nha Trang – Color of the Sea” in 2019 by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The opening ceremony of the 2019 National Tourism Year officially was held on May 11 and is due to end on December 31 in Nha Trang city.
In 2018, Khanh Hoa province welcomed more than 6.3 million visitors, a 15% increase against 2017.
