Australia awarded Hanoi introduction boards for Imperial Citadel of Thang Long

On January 18, the Australian Embassy in Vietnam has awarded Hanoi 14 introduction boards for the monument of Thang Long Citadel. Vice City Chairman Le Hong Son, on behalf of the Hanoi`s leaders to receive the 14 posters from Ambassador Hugh Borrowman.

Information on these posters expressed in both Vietnamese and English, introducing the most important part in the world's cultural heritage to domestic and international visitors, to help increasing awareness and understanding about the historical and cultural landmark of Thang Long Citadel.

Prof. William Logan - Australian legacy expert has worked for a long time with heritage conservation center of Thang Long - Hanoi to select information and images for the posters. The posters were produced in Australia with advanced technology, life extending over 20 years in inclement weather. Cooperation projects between the two countries was launched to support the development of Vietnam's tourism through improving information access for visitors as well as enhancing capacity for the staff of the units responsible for tourism and relics.
