Biggest event for students opens in Hanoi

The festival offers a chance to assess the outcomes of physical education and sports programs in schools as well as identify and nurture athletes for the nation and Hanoi.

Hoi khoe Phu Dong or Phu Dong Sports Festival – the biggest festival promoting sports among pupils and students – open in Hanoi on March 15.

 

 The annual event, which held at Vietnam Asian Indoor Game Stadium in Hanoi marked the participation of 5,000 people.
 The event gathered 1,500 coaches and athletes from dozens of teams of all 30 districts citywide.
 The opening ceremony was joined by more than 700 artists and athletes. 
 Lighting and sound systems created a striking impression on guests in addition to its lively and solemn atmosphere. 
 The parade honored the stunning and vibrant student athletes and referee teams from 30 Hanoi districts.
 The well-organized art performance leaves great impressions. 
 Phu Dong Sports Festival aims to promote all-sided development of schoolchildren.
