Boosting Hanoi - Australia development cooperation

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People`s Committee Le Hong Son received a delegation of Australian Political Exchange Council led by Senator Matthew Merry during his working visit in Vietnam in Hanoi on July 2.

At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Le Hong Son welcomed the Australian delegation's visit in Hanoi.
The Vice Chairman introduced Hanoi's achievements, as well as the important direction of the municipal socio-economic development.

Son expressed that Hanoi wishes to expand friendly relations and cooperation with the Australian localities.
He also said Hanoi simultaneously always creates favorable conditions for foreign businesses in general, and Australian enterprises in particular to invest in the capital.
Vice Chairman Son wished that Senator Matthew Merry will actively support the Vietnam - Australia cooperation in culture, education, health, trade and investment.
Senator Matthew Merry thanked the sincere reception of Hanoi leaders given for his delegation.
The Senator also said that the working visit in Vietnam will be valuable experience for the Australian young politicians.
