CMC Group is ready together with Hanoi to build a smart city

On April 13 morning, Hanoi Party Secretary Hoang Trung Hai and the delegation of the City Party Committee visited CMC Corporation in Cau Giay District.

Noteworthy in the working session at CMC Group, Hanoi Party Secretary Hoang Trung Hai is pleased to know that, over 24 years of development, CMC has become a leading IT and telecommunication company. The average income of workers is now 18 million VND/month. In addition to major domestic clients such as the Central Offices of the Party, the Office of the Government, ministries and large enterprises, CMC has many international clients in 24 countries across 5 continents.

Suggesting the idea to the Secretary of the City Party Committee, CMC Chairman and CEO Nguyen Trung Chinh said: The strategy of the Group in the next 5 years is to reach out to the world market, CMC has established CMC Global to realize this strategy, with the goal of bringing high-tech products and services to the world. In June 2017, the Group will set up a company in Japan alongside its offices in the United States, France and Singapore, and by 2020, CMC Global will have at least 2,000 people working overseas. Revenues from the international market will outweigh domestic revenue.

Concerned with the strategy of CMC in the next five years is to reach out internationally, Hanoi Party Secretary Hoang Trung Hai stressed: "this is a right direction" and also confirmed that for the past years, leaders of the city has make more decisions to develop the IT industry as well as applying IT in administrative reform.

Hai agreed with the proposal of CMC Technology Group to join the city in developing information technology application for all the agencies of the city under e-government as well as in public development. IT industry, aiming to build the Capital city into smart city, high technology city, beautiful model city, clean and nice city for peace.
