At the reception, Mr. Priollaud expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and hospitality of Chairman Chung, adding that Normandie was a famed tourist destination during the second World War with a long and beautiful coastline.
Additionally, the region is also strong in research, science and high technology applications with special strengths in tourism and hi-quality workforce training in the field of governance with the 140-year-old EM Normandie School. Vice President of Normandie region expressed his hope that two sides would promote cooperation, experience sharing over human resources training, planning consultation and Ha Noi tourism development.
Agreeing to the proposals of Vice President of Normandie region, Chairman Chung stressed that Ha Noi hopes to share the valuable experiences with Normandie region and other regions of France in the field of tourism and human resource development. He also pledged to create the best conditions for both sides to cooperate for their long-term benefit.
Chairman Chung affirmed that Ha Noi targets to develop tourism into its spearhead economy. The capital city also focuses on training human resources for the overall apparatus including human resources for the tourism industry. Chairman Chung said that the city has devised a tourism development scheme, with a focus on preserving and developing its unique culture and connectivity with cities, provinces and tourist landmarks at home and abroad.
