Fostering relationship between the two armies of Vietnam and Thailand

The first exchange for tactical-level officers between the Viet Nam People’s Army and the Royal Thai Armed Forces has been held recently in Bangkok, aiming to boost mutual understanding between the two armies.

A Vietnamese delegation to the event was led by Major General Le Trung Hai, Deputy Head of Military Medical Department.

The two sides’ second exchange for tactical-level officers will be hosted by Viet Nam early in 2015.

Viet Nam and Thailand armies have effectively conducted joint sea patrol with the aim of fostering mutual understanding and trust and ensuring security and safety at sea and good environment for the operation of their fishermen.
