According to Deputy Director of the company Nguyen Nhat Huyen, the air trip will take off from Gia Lam airfield, 15 minutes from Hanoi downtown, on the US-made light helicopter Bell 505.

“Song Hong HeliTour” will provide an enjoyable experience of viewing the panoramic landscape of Hanoi capital along the Red River.

From 100 meters high on the helicopter, visitors will enjoy the unique scenery with a bird's-eye view of bridges and the eastern area of the city including the historical Long Bien bridge, Co Loa citadel, Bat Trang pottery village, the newly urbanized areas of Ecopark and Vinhomes Riversides, among others, Huyen said.

Deputy General Director of Vietnam Helicopter Corporation Le Quoc Khanh under the Ministry of Defense said the country’s numerous beautiful landscapes, internationally recognized as natural wonders and sites of world cultural and natural heritage are the potential for aerial tour development.

The tour was launched following the success of the helicopter tour in Ha Long Bay this May. It is expected to provide professional aerial tours according to international standards, contributing to leveling up the tourism service of Vietnam as well as promote the country’s image to the world from new angles.
