Hanoi makes drastic effort to perform socio-economic tasks in 2017

The Hanoi People’s Committee has issued Announcement 1165/TB-UBND, focusing on performance over three quarters and task for the last one of 2017.

The Announcement states conclusion of Municipal People’s Committee at online conference with city’s departments, sectors, People’s Committees of districts and towns.



Over the past nine months, Hanoi has witnessed stable development in various fields. State budget revenue increases 16.2% against the same period last year; urban civilization and order is improved significantly; information technology is applied comprehensively in management and operation. Land certification and registration meets target; all urgent and key transport projects are completed. According to the schedule, 100 schools will meet national standard in 2017, raising the rate of national standard schools in Hanoi to 57.7 percent. 

Agricultural production is maintained. Hanoi is attractive destination of investment and tourism. Online business registration rate is 96%, and online tax declaration is over 98%. Social situation is stable; political, social order and safety are ensured. Dengue fever is under control, and tends to decrease.

 


In the last months of 2017, the city will strictly implement Year of Administrative Discipline 2017, focusing on conducting administration reform, simplifying administrative procedures, launching online public services at level 3 and level 4 in districts, suburban districts, communes and wards, rectifying behavior and attitude of civil servants, especially the ones in charge of receiving citizens and processing administrative procedures at One Stop Shop sections.

City government will take drastic measures for social and economic development, in particular state budget revenue target. Localities and agencies will enhance cooperation to ease difficulties and speed up progress of projects as well as disbursement of capital construction investment. More effort will be made to prevent and control dengue fever, and handle new cases of the disease.
