Hanoi People’s Council suggests supervision program for 2018

According to Resolution 09/NQ-HDND dated July 4, 2017, the Hanoi People’s Council approves supervision program for 2018.



 
Accordingly, the Hanoi People’s Council will supervise following issues at sessions: considering reports of the Municipal People’s Committee on implementation of socio-economic tasks, security, national defense and estimates for state budget revenues and expenses in six months and in the whole year; examining reports of the Standing Commission of Municipal People’s Council, People’s Committee, People’s Court and People’s Procuracy, civil law enforcement agencies of the same level and other reports according to regulations of the laws; questioning People’s Committee, Head of the Procuracy, Judge of the Municipal People's Court and heads of agencies under the Municipal People's Committee; collecting votes of confidence for officials elected by the Municipal People's Council according to guidance of Standing Committee of the National Assembly.

Furthermore, the Municipal People’s Council will conduct specialized supervision, focusing on implementing results of voters’ requests, results of decisions on handling complaints and denunciations which have legal effect since the beginning of the tenure; supervising management of land use projects which run behind schedule or violate Law on Land, such as inspection, examination and handling of violations; supervision conducted by Standing Commission of Municipal People’s Council, Sections of the Municipal People’s Council, deputies and groups of deputies of the Municipal People’s Council.
