Hanoi strives to attract $3 billion of foreign investment capital
The Hanoi People`s Committee has issued a promotion program for investment, trade and tourism in 2017.
Hanoi will also attract new projects in the form of socialization, public-private partnerships; striving to attract over $3 billion of foreign investment in 2017; 80% of online business registration dossiers; piloting online investment license, etc.
In the field of trade, Hanoi strengthens links with provinces and cities nationwide, supports the creation of distribution channels for Vietnamese goods in provinces and cities, attracts high quality products; supporting and removing difficulties to help businesses improve product quality and design, access new advanced technology; to reach consumers, contributing to the effective implementation of the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; looking for potential export markets, taking advantage of free trade agreements.
For tourism, Hanoi will organize events for promoting tourism, participate in major international fairs, focus on the key markets such as Europe, America, Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, South Asia, Middle East.
Focusing on research activities, assessing potentials, market, trends and investment partnerships for some key partner countries such as Japan, Korea, Taiwan, ASEAN countries, USA, EU, Singapore, China, Australia and so on, especially in the context of Vietnam's participation in the new free trade agreements.
