According to Lam Nguyen Hai Long, Head of the VNITO 2015 organising board, the conference is expected to attract more than 150 multinational companies from 20 countries along with 200 outsourcing firms and 20 leading IT universities in Vietnam, creating a chance for Vietnam to present its potential and seek cooperation opportunities.
Long noted that Vietnam provides incentives for investments in hi-tech zones while its software outsourcing cost is competitive, and inflation is stable.
Tholons, a services globalisation and investment advisory firm, places HCM City at 18th and Hanoi at 20th in the 2015 list of the top 100 outsourcing destinations.
Vietnam was also ranked first in the business process outsourcing location index 2015 by global real estate adviser Cushman & Wakefield.
