CNN has released its top travel photos from the first six months of 2017, and the beauty of Hoi An City – Vietnamese old town was shining brightly in 10th position.

The American news site selected 57 vacation shots from around the world. The Hoi An shot, credited to John S Lander, captures tourists in boats cruising among the lanterns along the Hoai River, set to a backdrop of ancient houses.
According to CNN’s Travel, Hoi An City, Quang Nam Province, Vietnam: A trading port between the 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An boasts an eclectic mix of historical eastern and western buildings. The well-preserved old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
In addition, Hoi An also ranked on 7th place in top 15 the best cities in the world by Travel & Leisure magazine from U.S. Meanwhile, according to Thrillist - the US’s travel website, Hoi An city officially ranked third on the list of among the top 12 of the most beautiful, cheap beach cities in the world.
