Honored for 19 teams and individuals receiving Vietnam Women Awards 2015
On October 18, on the occasion of 85 years since the establishment of Vietnam Women`s Union (VWU) (October 20, 1930 - 2015) with the theme "85 blossom seasons of the Vietnamese", Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc gifted Independent Medal for Vietnam Women`s Union. On this occasion, 9 groups and 10 individuals honored with Vietnam Women Prize 2015.
In the speech of memories, Chairman of Vietnam Women's Union Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa stated: Traditional indomitable hero of the Vietnamese Women was cultivated during the long history of struggle for national construction and defense of the Nation. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Association is the representative organization, caring for and protecting the rights and legitimate interests, the legitimacy of Vietnamese women, reputation increasingly affirmed in the loacal and international friends.
With the tasks in the future, Chairman Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa affirmed that Vietnamese Women will continue to uphold the glorious tradition of women, following the example of generations of women who were indomitable heroic, constantly resourceful. Promoting solidarity intellectual, creative talent. At the mean time promoting the role of the citizen, and contributing to construct Vietnam more and more wealthy and strong, just, democratic and civilized.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised the achievements of the Vietnam Women's Union in the way of 85 years, 19 collectives and individuals honored with Vietnam Women Prize 2015. He also suggested that VWU at all levels should make good representative role, care for protecting legitimate legal interests of women; develop the potential, creativity of women and mobilize women responded positively to the movement, new rural construction ...
Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also suggested that Party committees, government, ministries need to thoroughly grasp the perspectives, objectives and work of women in the new situation; continue attention to the work of female staff, ensuring appropriate percentage of women participating party committees, holding key positions in the agencies and units. The authorities continue to study issued specific policies to ensure the rights of women, to create all conditions for Vietnam Women's Union to better promote mission as the representative of the class women.
