Immediately implementating tasks from the first day of the Lunar New Year

Under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, on the afternoon of February 24, cabinet meeting has applauded the joint efforts to ensure a happy and safe Tet for everyone in the Lunar New Year.

According to the report of summing up the Lunar Tet, Government Office, the ministries, branches, localities, organizations and businesses actively, seriously directed the implementation of the Government, the Prime Minister on the preparation of the physical condition, mental for the New Year.


He said positive signs were seen as a result of stabilized market prices and ensured travel, public healthcare, security. The Government leader asked all localities and sectors to effectively carry out tasks for this year, boost production, and create the best possible conditions for the business development.

He also lauded ministries and localities for ensuring defence and security as well as social safety and order during Tet. 
Dung asked police to ensure security and public order, ensure the prevention of fires, and work to reduce traffic accidents over the festive season.

The PM reminded localities and sectors of the necessity of defending national defense, security, and national independence and sovereignty of the country.
