The 6th International Exhibition Fair on Environment and Energy Technology (ENTECH HANOI 2014) opened in Hanoi on May 21.
The three-day event attracted 200 stands from 150 organisations and enterprises worldwide, including partners from the Republic of Korea, Sweden, China, and Japan.
It aims to create business and trade opportunities in energy efficiency between domestic and foreign businesses; contributing to socio-economic development and sustainable "green growth".
The fair consists of several activities including seminars related to energy efficiency; a competition for environmentally friendly technology products; a business exchange and international cooperation programs; and a contract signing ceremony for organisations participating in the fair.
After five years of successful organisation, ENTECH HANOI has contributed to trade and investment promotion, dissemination of equipment, energy-saving, and environmental protection technologies.
In the last five years, as many as 1,280 contracts have been signed through ENTECH HANOI, valued at US$104.5 million.
