Italia – Vietnam to boost trade cooperation

On 23rd July, Vice Chairman of Ha Noi People’s Committee Nguyen Ngoc Tuan met diplomatic delegation led by Ambassador of Italia in Vietnam – Cecilia Piccioni and Vice Chairman Lazio People’s of Committee – Guido Fabiani.

At the reception, Ambassador Cecilia Piccioni appraised the traditional sound friendship between Vietnam and Italia, continuously enhanced and developed. During the past time, two sides carried out various cooperation on commerce, economic. In terms of that, Italia became the second biggest trade partner of Vietnam among Euro Union members. Based on this, Vietnam and Italia possess firm foundation to reinforce bilateral cooperation acts on: Trade, technology, culture and tourism.
Highly appreciating Vietnam economic potential’s among ASEAN, Vice Chairman Guido Fabiani expressed desire that, Lazio would tie the cooperate activities with Hanoi. He affirmed, Lazio with pointed fields such as: pharmacy, airline technology, science research; would widen the cooperation gate to Hanoi in the future.
 Agreed with suggestion from the Ambassador as well as Lazio’s leader, Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc Tuan highlighted that he would facilitate by any means, to speed up investment projects of two region, city; based on which the Vietnam – Italia relationship is boosted. Simultaneously, Vice Chairman said, in the August, Agency of Tourism, Trade and Investment along with Department of Plan and Investment would call on great amount of foreign investment projects -  an opportunity to connect enterprise of both region, city as well as two nations.
