“Made in Vietnam” Xmas goods dominate market

The Xmas market has been bustling in every corner of Hanoi, seeing a flood of made-in-Vietnam goods.

On these days, Hang Ma and Luong Van Can streets are overcrowded. Shops open from early morning to late night.

Price of gifts and decorations this year are slightly higher than those of last year, revealed a shop owner in Hang Ma St.

Eye-catching decorations are diverse including pine trees, bells, wreath garlands, ball and star ornaments, reindeer figures, and Santa Claus costumes.
 

 

Christmas tree is the most popular for home, office and shop decoration.

Hoang Thi Tuyen, a saleswoman in Hang Ma St, said customers feel secured to use locally made goods.

Buyers can easily find beautiful christmas cards made of different materials like tree branch, dried leaf, and plastic pine leaf on the street market.

Gift delivery service

Gift delivery service also enjoys large custom when Xmas comes.

According to a representative from Dai Duong Company, by December 19, the company has received more than 800 orders to deliver Christmas gifts. The number of orders increased significantly against last year.

Xmas atmosphere is not only prevailing main streets but also big commercial centres like Vincom, BigC, and Royal city which have launched a number of promotion programmes to attract customers and make Xmas warmer and bustling.

Further, hotels and restaurants have launched a wide range of activities and offered special Christmas and New Year services for foreigners.
