Deputies voted to pass a number of draft and revised laws during the ongoing ninth session of the 13th National Assembly in Hanoi on June 25.
Lawmakers agreed to adopt the draft law on natural resources, marine and island environments; the revised law on State budget; the draft law on labour safety and hygiene; and the draft law on election of deputies to the National Assembly and People’s Councils.
They also approved the resolution on investment policies for Long Thanh international airport.
Participants discussed the revised Civil Code, including the adjustment scale, relevant laws and the responsibility of competent agencies in civil rights protection.
On June 26, the legislature will convene a plenary session to review and ratify the appointment of judges to the People’s Supreme Court as well as vote to pass resolutions.
The session’s closing ceremony in the afternoon will be broadcast live
