The National Assembly’s Party committee on December 25 conduct the vote of confidence on its 57 members.
Subject to the vote were Vice NA Chairpersons who are not members of the Politburo or the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat; Chairperson and Vice Chairpersons of the NA’s Ethnic Council, heads and deputy heads of NA committees, and heads of the NA Standing Committee’s institutes.
Vice NA Chairpersons who are members of the Politburo or the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat will be subject to vote of confidence conducted by the Party Central Committee.
This is the first time the legislature’s Party committee has conducted the confidence vote. It then will be implemented regularly in the third year of the committee’s tenure.
The result of the vote will be announced late on the day.
