Organising ASEAN youth forum 2015 in HCM City

The ASEAN Youth Forum 2015 will be held in HCM City from September 17-19 attended by seven ASEAN member countries, including Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Thai Land and Vietnam.

Lam Dinh Thang, Deputy Secretary of the HCM City Communist Youth Union said at the press conference on September 15, thirty-six outstanding young people of these nations will participate in the event.

The region's youth will present solutions to preserving national cultural identities during integration process along with discussing ASEAN’s common issues.
They will seek to enhance awareness of ASEAN cultural values, conserve ASEAN cultural heritage and promote ASEAN cultural industry.
Besides, exhibitions showcasing national traditional costumes, cultural practices and cultural relic sites will take place at the event.
The participants will also make field trips to historic sites and famous destinations in HCM City.
