Overcoming difficulties to take the Capital for sustainable development

On the morning of November 19, Conference Executive Committee of Hanoi City Party XV was held under the chairmanship of Member of the Politburo and Secretary of Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi, Deputy Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Hanoi, Nguyen The Thao.

The conference aimed to evaluate the socio-economic development in 2014 and determine the key tasks of the Capital in 2015.

The imprint of one-year difficulty overcoming and comprehensive development

Striving for high growth and sustainable development

Speaking at the conference, Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen The Thao said that in 2014 the city met a lot of difficulty, but the Party and People attempted to give comprehensive results, including economic growth, budget revenues to develop urban management, urban infrastructure construction and new rural culture. These career continued to accelerate, the field of education and sport harvest picking success in national examinations and international award. Political security and order is maintained, got significant progress. At the same time, the city also conducts many activities to organize practically and effectively, celebrated the success of 60 years since Liberation of the Capital.

However, besides these outstanding results, Hanoi needs to look at the shortcomings of the socio-economic development, particularly in terms of management and administration, some of the potential advantages of the Capital has not been promoted effectively as the retail market, tourism, high-tech development. Hanoi is the hub needed to push up to wholesale center.
