Party and State leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

A delegation of Party, State, National Assembly, Government and Fatherland Front leaders on February 2 laid a wreath to pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum on the occasion of the 85th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

The dignitaries include Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, State President Truong Tan Sang, PM Nguyen Tan Dung, NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, Chairman of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Central Committee Nguyen Thien Nhan, former Party Chiefs Le Kha Phieu and Nong Duc Manh and former State President Tran Duc Luong, among others.

They expressed their respect and gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh, who founded and nourished the Party, and his great contributions to the Party and the nation’s revolutionary cause.

The high-ranking delegation also offered incenses at the War Martyr Memorial to commemorate heroes who scarified their lives for national liberation, freedom and people’s happiness.

The same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence; the Central Public Security Commission and the Ministry of Public Security; the Party Committee and People’s Committee of Hanoi also paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh.
