A majority of constituents in Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi hailed the agenda for the upcoming ninth session of the 13th National Assembly (NA) while meeting Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong on May 8.
They said laws and resolutions recently adopted by the NA have taken effect, but increased supervision over law enforcement is needed.

Many called for streamlining the State apparatus and reducing overlapping operations in State administrative units.
The Party leader hailed the voters’ opinions, saying that their involvement in national issues reflect the socialist democracy.
He assured them that their feedback on draft laws will be submitted to the ninth session which is due to pass 11 laws, one resolution and mull over 14 bills.
He also expressed hope that constituents will offer constructive ideas to legislators in order to help them fulfill assigned tasks.
