He suggested the two sides review fields of their strength in order to identify potential areas for further cooperation in the future.
He asked Sudan to facilitate the operation of Vietnamese businesses in the country, adding that some Vietnamese businesses such as the Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PetroVietnam) and the military telecom group Viettel have made their presence in Sudan.
The top Sudan lawmaker, who is in Vietnam to attend the 132nd Inter-Parliamentarian Union Assembly (IPU-132), lauded Vietnam for its careful preparation for the event.
He suggested Vietnam open an embassy in Sudan soon, adding that via trade promotion activities, the two sides could have more opportunities to make inroads in the respective markets.
