Relevant agencies urged to address difficulties for businesses

PM Nguyen Tan Dung has issued a Directive on resolving difficulties, obstacles facing businesses to boost production and trade, contributing to realizing the national socio-economic development plan in 2015.

PM Dung asked relevant agencies to work closely, practically and effectively, and accelerate administrative reforms to create the most favorable conditions for businesses.
 
 
Support activities shoud be implemented effectively with specific focuses while linkups among regions and sectors should be created and developed sustainably to ensure resources are utilised fully and support is efficient, the Government leader required.
He urged the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) to complete legal procedures to put a fund on developing small and medium enterprises, which has recently been established, into operation as soon as possible.
The MPI should work with the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry to continue training human resources for the enterprises prioritizing fields using hi-tech, encourage the enterprises to establish vocational training institutions or coordinate with the institutions in training and job creation, PM Dung asked.
To help businesses mobilize investment, the Ministry of Finance is asked to improve directions on prioritizing, exempting and reducing business income tax while facilitating the streamlining of administrative procedures related to tax and customs.
PM Dung also asked the State Bank of Viet Nam to continue urging credit organizations to be proactive in meeting businesses and supplying capital for them while encouraging commercial banks to apply methods of business confidence evaluation to extend opportunities on mortgage loans and adjust high interest rates which were applied earlier.
In addition, PM Dung requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to enhance market management, improve competitive capability and take drastic measures to address counterfeit and low-quality goods while boost the support to local businesses to expand production and trade.
