Gold Medals

At the contest, secondary and high school students worldwide were offered the chance to present their innovations.

This is the second time that all members of the Vietnamese team have won gold medals at the competition.

This is the third time Vietnam has sent a team to the Int’l Olympiad of Metropolises. They brought home one gold and six silver medals.

To secure the medals, the student has surpassed hundreds of competitors from nearly 100 nations and territories.

The result has marked the capital city's quality of high school education.

One of the two Hanoi students achieved the highest score at the contest, making him the first Vietnamese students to earn such achievement.

The achievements ranked Vietnam at the second place in the competition, only behind the US.

Vietnamese photographers have won 17 prizes in 10 out of 12 sections at the international photo contest 2020, according to the Vietnam Artistic Photographers’ Association.

Three gold medal winners are all 10th-grade students of Hanoi Amsterdam High School for the Gifted.

The Vietnamese delegation won the most gold medals (15), which is the best achievement in the four years participating in the International Mathematics and Science Olympiad.
