The UNESCO representative highlighted Vietnam's exemplary harmony between heritage conservation and promotion with sustainable tourism development, economic growth, and improved livelihoods for its people.

The aim of both was to promote people-to-people contact and to encourage cultural, artistic and sports exchanges in order to enhance mutual understanding.

The event includes 25 cultural creative spaces and 50 activities of exhibitions, installation arts, conferences, and art performances.

The discovery of new and creative products would create the driving force for economic development and contribute to achieving the goal of making Hanoi a creative hub of the region and the world.

The contest is open to young artists nationwide to promote the image of Hanoi.

Foreign diplomats and experts at home and abroad gathered to figure out the potentials, advantages as well as challenges, shortages and solutions for the development of the capital's cultural industry in the coming time.
