Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his Cambodian counterpart witnessed the signing of business agreements at the Vietnam-Cambodia Investment and Trade Promotion Forum.
Currently, Vietnam leads ASEAN in direct investment in Cambodia, with over 200 valid projects.
This marks his first visit to Vietnam since taking office in August.
The move is aimed at facilitating cashless payments in both countries.
Hanoi has actively supported Cambodia in the construction of various significant social projects and works that symbolize the goodwill between the two capitals.
The two sides are expected to address long-lasting citizen-related issues by law.
Vietnam and Cambodia are working to foster the two sides' relations in all fields, from socio-economic development, education, and training to infrastructure development.
Vietnam gives high priority to maintaining strong relations with Cambodia, in turn bringing substantial benefits to the people of the two countries, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has said.
