The memorandum of understanding signed between Hanoi and Vientiane would serve as the legal framework for cooperation between the two cities in the 2022-2025 period.

Laos remains the largest recipient of Vietnam’s outbound investment capital from a total of 78 countries and territories.

Both leaders agreed the strong cooperation between the two countries has brought substantial benefits for the people and, thus, they are committed to further nurturing this special relationship in the future.
