Upon learning of the Party Chief’s passing, officials and residents of Dan Phuong District were deeply saddened, mourning the loss of an exemplary and beloved Party leader.

A special announcement regarding the organization of the State Funeral for the Party Chief is expected to be made soon.

Both countries agreed to build a community of shared strategic significance for the benefit of the two peoples and world peace and progress.

The upgraded relationship means that the bilateral cooperation is not only expanding but also deepening and becoming more substantial, not only for the two countries but also with regional and global implications.

Through such diplomatic initiatives, Vietnam's standing in the global arena is progressively strengthening.

Despite challenges, both sides have made concerted efforts to promote cooperation in various areas, including the economy, science, technology, and education.

During the first six months of 2022, anti-corruption authorities at all levels took disciplinary action against 295 Party members for corruption, 117 more than in the same period last year.

Strict punishment serves as a deterrent to others, Party chief Nguyen Phu Trong has said.
