UN Women helps Vietnamese police build capacity for peacekeeping missions

Vietnam has sent more than 500 officers to the United Nations Peacekeeping Missions since 2014.
Vietnam’s President Nguyen Xuan Phuc said the country is making efforts to contribute more to the UN Peacekeeping Missions.
In seven years of taking part in the UN peacekeeping force, Vietnam has joined missions in the UN’s headquarters in New York, in South Sudan, and in Central Africa.
