Many districts under the pilot program are intensifying efforts to raise public awareness of waste sorting at the source and the fight against plastic waste.

Collective actions are aimed to boost the engagement of the private sector and empower informal waste workers and strengthen their resilience to vulnerabilities.

The hub in Vietnam, together with global initiatives, is expected to help reduce 80% of plastic waste discharged into the environment by 2030.

Behavior change would result in collective action to help Vietnam fulfill the target of ending single-use plastic products by 2030.
