The 4th Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Festival be held at Han River Port

From July 28 to 30, the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Festival 2017 will be held at Han River Port Da Nang City and aims to strengthen the solidarity and friendship between the two countries and attract international visitors, especially Japanese, to the city and Vietnam.

Some 150 booths have been designed in the typical festival styles of Vietnam and Japan and will not only introduce and promote products such as technology, electronics, fashion, handicrafts, cosmetics, and food but also have a space for culture, cuisine, tourism, and educational exchanges, together with calligraphy performances.
In addition also have a Kimono fashion show, a Japanese tea ceremony, a Japanese speaking contest, film screenings, a Cosplay contest, a Japanese makeup art and beauty contest, and a workshop on Japanese tourism in Da Nang.
The festival will also bring together a large number of artists from both countries. The highlight is a street performance involving more than 100 artists along Bach Dang Road at the opening ceremony on the night of July 28, bringing together traditional and modern music styles from the two cultures.
The Japanese Ambassador in Vietnam will be in attendance, as will local government officials, government officials from Japan, representatives from Japanese organizations and enterprises in Da Nang, and hundreds of university students, artists, artisans, and business leaders.
Direct flights from Da Nang to Osaka and return, operated by Jetstar Pacific Airlines and starting from September 1, will be also introduced.
It was the four time that the festival contributed to increasing more friendship relation and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan. It is a chance for Da Nang City to attract photo investment and propaganda to Japan and tourist.
Last year, the third Vietnam – Japan cultural exchange festival opened in the central city of Da Nang on July 29 as part of a host of activities to attract investment and promote the face and cultures of Japan and Da Nang.
This event has brought more than 60 delegations from Japan, including 25 art troupes from Sakai and Mitsuke city performing a tea ceremony, Ikebana flower arrangement, calligraphy, singing, and dancing.
