The Capital to allocate fund for planning new-style rural area

The Hanoi People’s Committee issued Decision 5632/QD-UBND dated August 16 on allocating fund to prepare detailed planning scheme, amend and supplement planning scheme on building new-style rural communes and project on building new-style rural area in 18 communes and townships of the Capital city.


 
Under the plan, total expenses for aforementioned tasks are VND 187.685 billion, including VND 87 billion to amend, supplement the planning on building new-style rural communes, VND 218.1 billion to prepare detailed the planning on commune center and rural residential places, and VND 19.22 billion for 384 communes to amend the project on building new-style rural area (VND 50 million for each commune).


People’s Committees of the suburban districts and towns are in charge of speeding up implementation progress of the approved projects and planning schemes, guarantee quality of the works, give instruction to prepare, verify and approve remaining projects for further implementation. They are also responsible for guiding People’s Committees of the communes through reviewing the project on new-style rural area construction, amending and supplementing it accordance with new-style rural area construction planning of the communes and national set of criterion on new-style rural area construction.

The budget must be used properly with the right purpose; payment settlement and final settlement of the projects must be completed according to regulation. The suburban districts and towns use their budget to make planning scheme on new-style rural area construction in communes according to regulation of the Central Government and of Hanoi, and guarantee project quality, cost-effectiveness, efficiency and progress as scheduled.
