To boost the cooperation between Economic & Urban newspaper and the Thainews

Taking the invitation of UbolnsanddA Supawan - Chief Editor of the Thainews (Thailand), from Sep 10th to Sep 15th, 2015; Delegation of Economic and Urban Newspaper led by Chief Editor Nguyen Minh Duc have visited and worked with the Thainews, according to annual bilateral memorial event.

In the complex of the visit, two sides had a close meeting to exchange career skill, journalist experience; especially the exchanging, informative measures on economic – social; urban management of Vietnam and Thailand as well as Hanoi and Chiangmai to publish on all publications according to demand and ability of two papers.

On 12th Sep, Mrs UbolnsanddA Supawan and Mr Nguyen Minh Duc have officially signed a MOU on coperative between Thainews Newspaper and Economic and Urban Newspaper. The Vice Governor of Chiang Mai Supachai Iamsuwan, President of the Chiang Mai Press Association Mr Amnat Jongyotying and Mr Nguyen Minh Khanh – Deputy Director of Department of Information and Communications of Hanoi witnessed the signing ceremony.
The leaders of two papers discussed and agreed to often exchange information, support each other on career skill activity, especially important events of Chiangmai and Hanoi. Initially, two sides will open direct link to each other electronic newspaper and facilitate to allow officers, reporters to propaganda about important events occur in Chiangmai and Hanoi.
The Vice Governor of Chiang Mai Supachai Iamsuwan emphasized this is the first time two of Hanoi newspaper and Chiang Mai newspaper signing a MOU on coperative. In the future, the desire to continue this cooperation be extended to other provincial newspapers as well as other Thai newspapers, he said. This is not only to create cooperative relationships between journalism but also meet the requirements of integration, particularly when the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will be launched later this year.
On this occasion, Chiang Mai Press Association was officially handed invitation Hanoi Journalists Association exchange visits and work is expected early in 2016 to Mr Nguyen Minh Duc - Chief Editor of Economic and Urban Newspaper, Vice President of Hanoi Journalists Association.
