1.  Ham Lon (Pig Jaws) Mountain

You can transfer to Ham Lon Mount by motorbike or bus from Hanoi but the good choice to transfer is motorbike which you can enjoy new experiences.

2. Ba Vi National Park

The park’s famous for outstanding natural beauty, and is centered on a three-peaked mountain jutting steeply out of the landscape. The national park offers a great escape from the city with cool fresh mountain air in a mystical atmospheric backdrop of clouds, jungle and tropical rainforest. There is also a spa resort nestled at the foot of the mountain offering a host of natural therapies in an absolutely stunning setting.
You can soak up the fresh atmosphere from the gate of the national park with Lagerstroemia rows on two sides of the road. Furthermore, when visiting the inside of the national park, you'll impress with vestiges of France architecture resorts built in the 1940s.
Far 70km from Hanoi, you'll spend 1 hour to transfer by bus or motorbike even bicycle. You have to pay 40.000VND/person and 20.000 VND with students and children.

3, Tam Dao, Vinh Phuc province

Recently, Tam Dao becomes a favorite place for travel lovers. Spending 2 hours to transfer from Hanoi by car or motorbike. If you are adventure traveler, you can rent a motorbike in Old Quarter to go, but you have to remember that the road leads to Tam Dao is quite difficult and dangerous to move. Therefore, you shouldn’t choose scooper and travel in the evening.

When visiting Tam Dao, you'll feel like travelling to Sapa or Da Lat. The atmosphere is so fresh and cool as well. Moreover, Tam Dao has pretty places to visit such as Paradise Gate, Silver Waterfall, and the ancient church and so on which are suitable for families and friends.

4. Thanh Thuy Hot Spring
Thanh Thuy Hot Spring Resort is a 1km2 area, located to the west of the Da River. It belongs to Thanh Thuy district in Phu Pho Province. Only 65km away from Hanoi, it is an extremely rare and valuable source of hot spring in northern Vietnam. The water there is taken from the wells that are about 30m – 60m deep. In the swimming pools and the sauna bathtub, cold water must be added in order to cool off the hot water.
Thus, they usually say that cold water in Thanh Thuy is much more valuable than the so-called hot spring water. Interestingly, the water from hot spring there can help heal many arthritis and skin diseases.
After enjoying the wonderful hot spring water, visitors can savor many specialities of Thanh Thuy such as Stone Mountain Goat, Da River Fish, Thuong Chicken, etc. among which Da River Fish is the most famous cuisine. This is the type of fishes caught from Da River which produces a typical flavor when cooked: fragrant, sweet, but not buttery. The second-best choice is Thuong Chicken which is raised on the high mountains in Phu Tho.
