Vietnam`s Department of Survey and Mapping and the Japanese Geospatial Information Institute held a ceremony to hand over a Memorandum of Understanding on March 11 in Hanoi giving the collaborative efforts in cartography.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Linh Ngoc confirmed the long history of Vietnam - Japan cooperation in various fields, especially in natural resources and environmental issues
The Deputy Minister stressed that the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment will facilitate utmostly in collaboration with the Japanese Geospatial Information Institute to achieve the best results.
This will create an opportunity for beneficial experience exchange in cartography as well as further strengthen the friendly and cooperative relations between the two nations.
